Two distinctive voices in different genres and with different expressions - and they are father and son. This concert is part of Dokkhuset's concert series 'Blanke Ark'.
When father and son Kleiberg were encouraged by Dokkhuset Scene to put together a concert, Hogne and Staale willingly accepted the challenge. At this concert we get to hear two distinctive composers from two generations of Kleibergs.
The four young musicians in the Hogne Kleiberg Quartet are among the greatest talents in Noeway. Hogne's compositions are distinctive, knowledge-based and tradition-conscious.
A strong personal voice with a clear foundation in the tradition - this is often said about Ståle Kleiberg's classic compositions. Staale have recently received brilliant international reviews for the release 'Do You Believe in Heather?' - chamber Music by Staale Kleiberg.
