He is the King of Neo-Soul and quasi a living legend: Roy Ayers. It is said, that he received his first vibraphone mallets by his great role model, Lionel Hampton, as a present when he was five years old. Following countless concerts and recordings since the 60’s, today he is the most well-known vibraphone player.
