Jazz connective will take place on the 8, 9 and 10 of March 2020 in Birmingham, supervised by Performances Birmingham Limited, manager of the Town Hall and the Symphony Hall and in collaboration with EJN and its activity "We Insist! Social Inclusion through Creative Music".
During these three days, delegates will be invited to participate and attend to concerts of European artists, visits, workshops and a public round table, linked with Jazz Connective concerns, such as promoting a more inclusive culture and building new strategies for the defence and promotion of jazz and improvised music in Europe.
Indeed, Jazz Connective is a collaborative project between different European partners built to sustainably strengthen our artistic scenes, composed of promoters and producers, musicians and professionals, by exploring these issues on a European scale.
We will also have the pleasure to receive members of the Europe Jazz Network (EJN), as part of their program “We Insist! Social Inclusion through Creative Music”. EJN is a nonprofit Europe-wide association of producers, presenters and supporting organisations who specialise in creative music, contemporary jazz and improvised music created from a distinctly European perspective.
