Programme Manager – Artist Development

Salary £22k – £23.5k

Jazz North is looking for a dynamic, organised and collaborative arts manager to join the team. This is an amazing opportunity to help shape and deliver our artist support programmes for jazz musicians across the north of England as the live music sector emerges from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Working as part of a small, home-based team, you will be responsible for co-creating and managing a programme of support and development activities that meet the needs of musicians and contribute to our ambition to establish the north as a leading talent hub for jazz in the UK.

We’re looking for self-starter who is a great communicator, with experience of running artist development activities and producing arts events, ideally within the music sector. Someone who is enthusiastic, engaged and adaptable, who can manage budgets and who will be comfortable working in a non-conventional and exciting environment. More than anything you should have a love for music (in all of its forms), be passionate about the transformational power of music and be able to advocate for this both in person and through digital channels.
