The sixth edition of Il Jazz Italiano per le Terre del sisma [Italian Jazz for the earthquake lands] that took place at L’Aquila closed with one very good news: Sile Jazz festival and its director Alessandro Fedrigo (co-founder of nusica.org association) were awarded by the National Federation of Italian Jazz with the NEW DIRECTIONS prize.
Among the rich numbers of Italian festivals, Sile Jazz stands out for its attention to young talents, alongside accurate research through international jazz artists and the strict connection with the territory.
In addition, the award will bring Alessandro Fedrigo into the trio of directors of the next edition of the festival Jazz Italiano per le terre del sisma at L'Aquila.
