Kindred Spirits

Kindred Spirits is a not-for-profit organization formed it 1996.  "Bending Towards the Light ... A Jazz Nativity" and the Kindred Spirits Children's Jazz Choirs are our two major projects.  The Jazz Nativity has featured such jazz greats as Lionel Hampton, Dave Brubeck, Toots Thielemans, Clark Terry, Tito Purnte ...   all of who are in this year's virtual production.  Kindred Spirits also produces other jazz oriented shows  and concerts and educational events. Anne Phillips is president of Kindred Spirits. composer of the works they produce and  arranger/director of the Children's Jazz Choirs.  As a singer she has several CDs , the most well-known, her first 'album,'   "Born To Be Blue' for Roulette.
