From 9th to 20th July 2021, the 60th edition of the international jazz festival “Jazz à Juan” took place, its programme once again masterfully orchestrated by Jean-René Palacio, artistic director of the festival for the past ten years.
Further to his passing, a new request for proposals was launched by the Antibes Juan-les-Pins Tourism and Convention Bureau, organiser of the event, in order to designate a new artistic advisor for the festival. At the end of this procedure, the committee in charge of tender offers selected the joint application by Jean-Noël Ginibre, Reno Di Matteo and Pascal Pilorget.

The agency focusses on the new generation of French and international artists who blend jazz with contemporary music (rock, electro, hip-hop…), proposing artists emblematic of this style such as Tigran Hamasyan, Louis Cole, Kokoroko, Cory Wong and Nate Smith. Pascal Pilorget has also ensured the artistic direction for festivals such as London Jazz Calling (centred on the discovery of the new UK scene) and the Jazz Pulse evenings at Trois Baudets.
Join us in July 2022 for a festival which retains, more than ever, the gut instinct of its own legend, welcoming many of those who are themselves legends and who make, or will make history.
