Besuch aus Argentinien! Aus Buenos Aires direkt in den Kühlspot:

Geronimo Mangini is an argentinian composer, drummer and professor at the Rosario University and also at the Astor Piazzolla Conservatory of Buenos Aires city.

He organized a tour during which he will present his works startingon May 3rd, 2022 in the Maison de l'Argentine in Paris. This is possible thanks to the A.V.E scholarship that he has obtained in 2021 from the National University of Rosario. From Paris he is coming over to Berlin.

This concert will be particularly special because he will present original jazz arrangements - soon to be recorded - by Latin American composers from the 60s and 70s such as Alberto Ginastera (Argentina), Heitor Villa Lobos (Brazil) and Carlos Chavez (Mexico). Some of those arrangements are: Tistorosa (Villa – Lobos), Vidala (Ginastera) Preludio 5 (Chavez).
