Experience tells us that music cannot be photographed. A photographer can show the musician's work with his instrument, on his idea of a tone. Provided he has the necessary sensitivity - and the will for perfection. This is exactly what Detlev Schilke brings together when he photographs jazz musicians.

Afterwards, Detlev Schilke will give a lecture on his work as a photographer of the jazz scene, using many examples of images.
The exhibition will be on view until November 30, 2022.
