Artists, venue and date for The Prequel 2024 have been confirmed: From July 4 to 6, 2024, the workshop edition of the Monheim Triennale II will take place on the festival ship at the Monheim Rheinanleger.
This is the first time that our sixteen Signature artists will come together: Oren Ambarchi, Shannon Barnett, Brìghde Chaimbeul, Anushka Chkheidze, Ganavya Doraiswamy, Peter Evans, Heiner Goebbels, Shahzad Ismaily, Selendis Sebastian Alexander Johnson, Darius Jones, yuniya edi kwon, Muqata'a, Rojin Sharafi, Terre Thaemlitz, Julia Úlehla and Ludwig Wandinger. They will perform both as soloists and in various constellations on the festival ship's stage.
Ticket holders will have the opportunity to experience this workshop edition of the Monheim Triennale II at a special location. The main venue will once again be the MS Rheinfantasie of the Köln-Düsseldorfer Rheinschifffahrt.
Early Bird tickets go on sale at 12 noon on 4 December 2023 for €69 (discount €35). The ticket includes access to all The Prequel events.
Please note: Early Bird tickets are limited and will only be available until January 6, 2024. Once the limited number is sold out and/or regular ticket sales begin on 7 January 2024, the Festival ticket price is €98 (conc. €49). All prices above are excluding booking fee.
A shuttle bus service will be provided from Cologne and Düsseldorf to Monheim (and back).

Home concert with Anushka Chkheidze On Sunday 3 December at 1 p.m. Signature Artist Anushka Chkheidze will perform a live electronic set at our artists' residence, Villa am Greisbachsee.
