The Periscope, a stage dedicated to jazz in all its forms, in collaboration with Lyon-based producer BAAM Productions, announces the launch of the first edition of Récif, a new jazz festival in Lyon, France.
An international festival featuring an artistic lineup that combines international and local artists, the inaugural edition of Récif reflects all the facets of today's jazz music. Thirty-nine musicians from South Africa, Japan, the United States, Cuba, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, Paris, and the Lyon region will bring their instruments to Lyon for the duration of the festival, from March 26 to 30, 2024.
On the program: 14 concerts in 3 venues that are emblematic of Lyon's music scene – Le Périscope, La Chapelle de la Trinité, and Le Marché Gare.
