Another breathtaking edition of Jazz in the Park has finished and we already know the first headliner for 2025: Ibrahim Maalouf with his new project Trumpets of Michel-Ange.
Jazz in the Park had 5 stages this year, 55 artists from 3 continents and 13 countries. Over the course of three days, the festival attracted 19,500 visitors, with a nearly equal gender split: 49,7% were women and 50.3% men - a reflection of jazz's broad appeal.
The lineup included extraordinary performances by Tigran Hamasyan, Avishai Cohen Trio, Isfar Sarabski, jazzbois, the legendary Cymande, Orchestra Baobab, and many exciting acts that surprised the public in a very good way.
To get a feel for the festival's vibe, we recommend checking out what UK Jazz Magazine and Jazzwise have to say about this year's edition.
In addition, the organizers have decided to adjust the festival dates, starting earlier than usual, ahead of other major events. So mark your calendar for 6-8 June 2025, in the same beautiful Ethnographic Park from Cluj-Napoca, that has become synonymous with the festival.
Seems we should all attend next year's edition and enjoy the fun!
Tickets are already available at an Early Bird price of 70 euros.
