On 3-4 December 2025, we participated in the 3rd AMPLIFY Consortium Meeting, held in Pisa, Italy, and hosted by Fondazione Toscana Produzione Musica. The meeting brought together all AMPLIFY project partners to review progress, exchange knowledge, and align on the next steps of this European initiative focused on developing ethical, inclusive, and human-centred digital tools for the cultural and creative sectors.
Partners representing the project’s diverse ecosystem - including cultural organisations, researchers, and technology developers - worked together to assess the advancement of AMPLIFY’s digital solutions and their implementation within the four pilots that are leaded respectively by Fèisean nan Gàidheal, Cooperativa Paulo Lameiro, Fondazione Toscana Produzione Musica, and Fundació del Gran Teatre del Liceu. Particular attention was given to ensuring that technological development remains closely connected to real artistic practices, organisational needs, and audience experiences.
Within the project, EJN contributes its expertise in networking, partherships, knowledge sharing, and sectoral advocacy, ensuring that the perspectives and needs of music and cultural professionals are embedded throughout AMPLIFY’s development. At the Pisa meeting, EJN actively contributed to discussions on adoption strategies, capacity building, and stakeholders engagement, reinforcing the project’s ambition to create tools that are not only technologically advanced but also relevant, usable, and sustainable for cultural organisations across Europe.
The meeting also provided an important space to test and discuss emerging tools, share best practices around community engagement, and strengthen collaboration across work packages. Alongside technical discussions, partners refined the project’s communication, dissemination, and exploitation strategies, with the aim of maximising AMPLIFY’s impact beyond the project lifetime.
Overall, the Pisa meeting marked a key moment for consolidating a shared vision among partners and defining a clear roadmap for the coming months. It reaffirmed AMPLIFY’s commitment to supporting cultural organisations in navigating digital transformation while safeguarding artistic integrity, accessibility, and meaningful audience relationships.
