7 Virtual Jazz Club

7 Virtual Jazz Club is an APS association founded in 2016 by Valerio Pappi and Giorgia Stefania Gabetto, dedicated to the support of jazz music in all its forms. Our goal is to promote top quality jazz performances and to discover new talents, through a virtual platform that launched, the very first entirely virtual global contest dedicated to jazz music, now in its tenth edition (Deadline February 29th, 2024). The contest is open to all musicians, all ages, all nationalities. The contestants send a video exhibition with a maximum length of 7 minutes, upon payment of an entry fee. A jury composed of international jazz experts (writers, critics, journalists, teachers, agents and musicians) scores the videos.
What do we do?
Establish a permanent platform aimed at the discussion and performance of jazz musicians from all over the world. Create a new audience for jazz music with the help of 21st century’s social media power. Feature new jazz artists and talents. Give jazz musicians the possibility to be heard and evaluated by an international judging panel made of jazz critics and experts coming from all over the world.
