The Australian Music Centre (AMC) is the national service organisation dedicated to the promotion and support of art music in Australia. It is a not-for-profit organisation that has existed for more than 40 years.

Major advocacy and development organisation for Australian music;
Supports and promotes new music in Australia, getting the work of Australian composers, performers, critics into the public arena;
Supports and promotes composers and performers of this music via publishing, retail and distribution services;
Digitally, the portal to the world for Australian music, with a repository of more than 13,000 items by 660 creators, making AMC the most extensive collection of Australian scores, recordings, teaching kits and aggregated music resources in the world;
Designs and delivers education programs, artform and artist development schemes, developing content about Australian art music for schools, tertiary institutions, early, mid and senior career music practitioners;
Public advocacy via national awards ceremonies;
Strong partnerships with the collecting societies APRA-AMCOS and Sounds Australia providing vital export opportunities.
