“Baku Jazz Festival” is a large-scaled project which organized by The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan Culture Foundation and Jazz Dunyasi magazine.
“Baku Jazz Festival” has been held since 2005, its founder is the outstanding Azerbaijani jazz musician Rain Sultanov. Baku Jazz Festivall has established itself as one of the largest and brightest cultural events in the Caucasus.
Al Jarreau, Joe Zawinul, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Joshua Redman, Charles Lloyd, Diana Krall and other great musicians have already participated in our Festival. “Baku Jazz Festival” and related advertisement are broadcasted in Euronews TV channel.
This event will be held in the 4 concert stations and in the open air station of Baku. “Baku Jazz Festival” will be aforum and musical festival including education (seminars, master classes), competition (“Best Jazz Performer”), “Kids jazz day”, art and photo exhibitions, jam sessions and demonstrating jazz concerts with the participation of best performers of the world jazz.
