Kamil Abt projects
Australian jazz guitarist of Polish origin - composer, arranger, leader and creator of original projects.
A graduate of the prestigious Australian Academy of Music, the Elder Conservatorium of Music. His original style combines the school of classical jazz with a metaphysical view of the genre straight from the antipodes.
He has been present on stage for twenty years. He has performed in his native Australia, Japan and the whole of Europe, including France or Spain and, of course, in Poland.
He started his career in Australia, where he played with the best musicians of the local scene, including Steve Mooney (as a member of the "Fifth House" quintet) with Adam Pag, Daniel J. Ross and John Wilson.
Kamil Abt also founded and led the bands Mosholu Parkway, Jazzyowski and SpeciaL K.
In Japan, he performed in the ensemble of the famous Japanese saxophonist Hiroshi Yaginum, and in the Atsushi Matsunaga quartet, while leading his quartet.
The artist has the author's album "Smokin 'It Up" released by Bad Marketing Sync. Records.
He also recorded an album containing an interpretation of less known jazz standards called "Kung Fu Jazz".
In Poland, he collaborates with outstanding jazzmen who co-create his projects.
