Bærum jazzfestival aims to present high-quality music and combine jazz and modern dance, which makes it unique among the festivals in the local area. With ambitions to become vital, innovative and significant for Norwegian and international jazz, the festival seeks to appeal to new target groups and create an attractive artistic product.
The festival also aims to be a meeting place for the industry, politics and business. In comparison with others festivals in the region and the country, we focus on the combination of jazz and modern dance, as well as its strategic positioning as organizer. The festival will now take place for the third time in 2024 and our mission is to grow further!”
