Once again, on the occasion of International Women's Day, and for our #WomenToTheFore campaign 2024 we collaborate with the members of the Europe Jazz Media group and their joint action to present eight young, talented musicians to discover.
The previous editions - Four Women, Take 6, High Society, Now's the time - on the occasion of the International Women's Day (#IWD) demonstrated the huge success of a collective action, with the articles appearing simultaneously in several languages and in several media in different countries. This 2024 edition brings together seven magazines already involved in the previous year and a newcomer, the Spanish magazine In&Out Jazz.
The musicians chosen for this year are: for Citizen Jazz (France), Fanny Meteier; for JazzMania (Belgium), Alejandra Borzyk; for London Jazz News (UK), Asha Parkinson; for Jazz-Fun (Germany), Miriam Ast; for Jazz’halo (Belgium), Marjan Van Rompay; for Donos Kulturalny (Poland), Matylda Gerber; for Giornale della Musica (Italy), Evita Polidoro and for In&Out Jazz (Spain), Alejandra López.

As EJN, we also published four more #WomenToTheFore profiles highlighting outstanding professionals and artists in Europe: Mingo Rajandi (Estonia), Sunna Gunnlaugs (Iceland), Amelie Salembier (France) and Malwina Witkowska (Poland).
