The Europe Jazz Network is pleased to announce that its Board of Directors have accepted 3 new members in the network. They are: Associazione Culturale Veneto Jazz (Italy), International Jazzfestival Saalfelden / Kunsthaus Nexus (Austria) and Moers Kultur GmbH - Moers Festival (Germany).
With the new entries, the Europe Jazz Network now consists of 105 members in 31 countries between festivals, venues, clubs and support organisations all active in the fields of creative music, jazz and improvised music in Europe. It is regarded by the European Union as the reference point for jazz and one of the main cultural networks in Europe, and receives regular funding through the Creative Europe programme.
The 3 new members are all central realities of jazz in Europe:
Associazione Culturale Veneto Jazz is the organiser, among other things, of the Venice Jazz Festival in Italy:
International Jazzfestival Saalfelden / Kunsthaus Nexus is the organiser of the Saalfelden Jazzfestival in Austria:
Moers Kultur GmbH is the organiser of Moers Festival in Germany:
