My staff exchange experience was beyond exciting!
It was my first time, so I'd like to thank Sybille, Goetz, Jakob, Marisol, Laura, Marlena, Nina, Laura, Insa and Janika for making me feel like part of the team.
During my exchange I mainly helped both Jakob and Marisol with production and social media tasks. With Marisol we planned a schedule for social media content, produced assets and templates (I was also the protagonist of some reels!) and did live coverage for some of the most important showcases.
As for my work with Jakob, I was the on-site production person for the CLUBNIGHT @ Achat Hotel and the Gala Concert @ Kulturzentrum Bremen. I took care of the artists and the venues and made sure that everything went according to plan. Through this experience I learned how important it is to plan every detail, every single thing in such a big event where several things happen at the same time. I also learned the value of problem solving skills when something went wrong - or not to plan - at the venue. I've always been a quick thinker and that's come in handy in my job, as well as being proactive, flexible and resourceful.
I also gained a deep understanding of the importance of a good team and teamwork skills - I always tried to do my best in every task I was given, but whenever I had any doubts I knew I could rely on the support and experience of my jazzahead! colleagues.
Best of all, I also got the chance to meet and work with amazing artists and people who work within the jazz music industry.
In the end, it was an incredible, fun, valuable and rewarding experience!
