I had a very valuable experience working alongside the staff of Banlieues Bleues during their annual festival. I mainly worked with Gaëlle Audouard, coordinator of the Actions Musicales, or the music workshop program Banlieues Bleues has been organizing in the suburbs of Paris. As I am also developing several workshop programs at Ha Concerts, it was very interesting to see their work with a very diverse range of participant groups from the different cities they are working in (children, teenagers, people with disabilities, etc.) and to hear about their experience with co-creation, lessons they have learned over the years, the perspective of artists and participants on these projects, etc. I took a lot of food for thought with me back home to my own work.
